The Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will begin accepting applications for the Residential Enhancement Program beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Eligible homeowners may receive up to $10,000 for exterior improvements including, painting, landscaping, fencing, lighting and driveways. Eligibility Requirements: Own a single-family home located within the Northwest-Progresso- Flagler Heights CRA boundaries. Be the legal owner of the property. Property must demonstrate a need for exterior improvements. On August 18, 2026, the Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board of Commissioners approved $2.5 million in Development Incentive Program funding for Holy Cross Health to support the development of a new comprehensive outpatient center, ambulatory surgery center, and freestanding emergency department at 200 East Sunrise Boulevard.The project represents an estimated $83.8 million capital investment in the Northwest-Progresso-Flagler Heights (NPF) CRA and is expected to expand access to healthcare services, create new jobs, and support continued redevelopment within the area. The new two-story healthcare facility will include an 11,721-square-foot freestanding emergency department with 12 treatment rooms and diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray, ultrasound, and CT scanning.
