The Non-Residential Façade Improvement Program provides financial assistance for exterior improvements to commercial and mixed-use properties. The program is intended to enhance the appearance of properties, support private investment, and contribute to the overall revitalization of the CRA.
Funding Assistance
Eligible projects may receive funding as a forgivable loan, subject to program requirements and available funding.
- CRA Area Projects: The CRA may fund up to 75% of eligible project costs, not to exceed $125,000.
- Focus Area Projects: The CRA may fund up to 100% of eligible project costs, not to exceed $75,000. Funding may increase up to $125,000 with an additional 5% applicant contribution.
- Costs exceeding the approved CRA award are the responsibility of the property owner.

Certain funding levels are available specifically for properties located within designated Focus Areas.

Eligible Improvements
Eligible improvements may include:
- Exterior building improvements, including doors, windows, exterior lighting, shade canopies, and signage
- Walkways, landscaping, and on-site parking improvements
- Exterior restoration and rehabilitation
- Architectural and engineering services
- Permitting and application fees
