The Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) invites the community to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for The Alridge and The Laramore, a new mixed-use affordable housing development along the Sistrunk Corridor. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at 1204 Sistrunk Boulevard. This milestone event marks the beginning of construction on a $42 million development that will bring much-needed affordable housing and retail space for small businesses to the Northwest-Progresso-Flagler Heights CRA area.The project, also known as Sistrunk Apartments, will feature modern residential units paired with ground-floor commercial space, supporting both housing accessibility and economic development within the community. Community members, stakeholders, and partners are encouraged to attend and be part of this important moment as the CRA continues its commitment to revitalizing the Sistrunk Corridor.
