CRA Board Approves Victory Entertainment Complex Project

On November 16, 2021,  the Fort Lauderdale City Commission, acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board of Commissioners, held a public hearing and approved a resolution to accept  the proposal of Northeast 6th Development, LLC  to develop the Victory Entertainment Complex. The Board of Commissioners also approved a donation of CRA property  and a $2,450,000 CRA Development Incentive Program loan to the developers.

The proposed project will be located  at 1017 Sistrunk Boulevard and 606 NW 10 Terrace.  The development is slated to include a  3-story commercial building and entertainment complex with a craft distillery, restaurant, cigar lounge, wine bar and approximately 1,500 square feet of meeting space. Prospective tenants include:  The Wine Down, Smoke on the Boulevard, Lorna’s Grille, Old Sistrunk Distillery and Sistrunk Social. The total cost of the project is $4,000,000.

The Victory Entertainment Complex  project is consistent with the Northwest- Progresso-Flagler Heights CRA Community Redevelopment Plan which provides for direct physical improvements to enhance the overall environment, improve the quality of life and attract sound business and commercial development that provide employment and job opportunities.
