On September 1, 2020, the City of Fort Lauderdale Commission, acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board of Commissioners approved a $640,000 Development Incentive Program Loan to Mount Hermon Housing, LTD. for the development of Mount Hermon Apartments. The CRA’s Development Incentive Program Loan is contingent upon the award of a 9% tax credit from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation. The Mount Hermon Apartments will consist of an affordable senior housing project located in the Northwest portion of the CRA area in the Dorsey Riverbend neighborhood at the corner of NW 4th Street and NW 8th Avenue. The Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency  (CRA) has instituted a social distance policy, which limits the physical staffing at the office. All staff are still available during normal office hours by email or via phone.  Click here to view the NPF CRA directory The CRA office is currently closed to the public. If you must come to the office, please contact the CRA to schedule an appointment. All meetings are currently being held virtually. To schedule a meeting  contact a CRA staff member using the directory above. To enter the building, all visitors must wear a face mask,  have a temperature check lower than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit and not be displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 ( i.e.fever,dry cough and fatigue).
