Sweet Estates Residents Can Apply for the NPF CRA Residential and Facade Landscape Program

The Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights (NPF) CRA Residential and Façade Landscaping Program provides financial assistance to improve the appearance of single-family residential homes within the CRA Area. Eligible properties can receive up to $7500 worth of exterior improvements.

Eligibility

  • This program is for single-family residential homes, either owner-occupied or tenant-occupied residential investment properties located in the NPF CRA Area. Applications are currently being accepted from properties in the River Gardens / Sweeting Estates neighborhood.
  • Applicants are eligible to receive up to $7500 per property for exterior painting and xeriscape landscaping. Xeriscape landscaping is landscaping designed specifically for areas that are susceptible to drought, or for properties where water conservation is indicated.
  • Property owners are required to agree to maintain improvements for the duration of seven (7) years. Maintenance will be subject to normal City code policies.
  • The City of Fort Lauderdale Housing and Community Development will administer the program by selecting contractors and ensuring that the program guidelines are followed.
