Finally Friday on Sistrunk returns May 20th  at Provident Park, located at 1412 NW 6th Street from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,  to celebrate the grand opening  of the new L.A. Lee YMCA / Mizell Community Center. Patio Bar and Pizza , a new restaurant and bar located in Fort Lauderdale's Historic Progresso Plaza is celebrating its grand opening this Friday, July 29 at 5:00 PM . The pizzeria offers an affordable menu comprised of artisan pizza and flatbread, craft beer, wines and cocktails in a comfortable environment. The restaurant received a forgivable loan ($225,000) from the Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency‘s Property and Business Incentive program to assist with interior and exterior renovations to the near 100 year old building. The CRA’s Property and Business Incentive program has a special emphasis on attracting new restaurants to the area for the purpose of creating a dining destination and other cluster of uses that will create a sense of community.
