You’re invited to join fellow Community Builders and our neighbors at the Neighbor Support Night February 8, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fort Lauderdale City Hall. Neighbor Support Night offers family-friendly activities and an evening of elevating public spirit, sharing big ideas, and establishing meaningful connections with our neighbors to help make Fort Lauderdale a livable, inclusive, and sustainable city. City Hall Garage Parking Information
- A portion of the 1st floor of the City Hall Garage will be temporarily closed beginning late tonight through tomorrow night for Neighbor Support Night preparations.
- Enforcement will be suspended in the City Hall Garage all day February 8th.
- Community Builders may park on the 4th floor of the City Hall Garage and are encouraged to do so to reserve 1st floor parking spaces for our neighbors and visitors.
- You may use either the south or north entrance to enter the garage.
- You will need to pull a ticket, but you will not be charged for parking.
- A gate attendant will let you out of the garage until 7 p.m. After 7 p.m., you will need to use the intercom and an attendant will open the gate remotely.
- Parking spaces will be reserved in the first aisle of the garage (on the south side closest N.E. 1st Street) for the Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager, and Assistant City Managers. There are also two parking spaces reserved for the City Attorney’s Office.
- Department Directors and Deputy Directors with reserved parking spaces are asked to use employee parking spaces while their parking spaces are unavailable.
- The north employee parking lot will be roped off from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. for the Board of Adjustment meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in City Hall.
- Public Safety Aides will be available tomorrow from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. to help direct traffic.
