If you’re looking for a business or home loan, you can learn about opportunities during a two-day financial summit in Fort Lauderdale. The Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency is hosting the event from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday and Saturday. Business owners, homeowners and prospective homebuyers across South Florida are welcome to attend, though the focus will be on the CRA’s Fort Lauderdale Village District, which includes the Historic Sistrunk, Progresso Village and Flagler Village neighborhoods. One of the most recent construction projects to receive funding from the NPF CRA is the Quantum at Flagler Village, at Federal Highway and Sunrise Boulevard, a combination retail, hotel and multi-family development. Lauderdale – April 2017) - Another North West, Progresso, Flagler Community Redevelopment Agency (NPF CRA) incentive program applicant has received a recommendation for approval from the CRA Advisory Board. The funding request is for Invasive Species Brewing, LLC in the amount $110,353 for the purpose of renovating the building and site at 726 NE 2 Avenue and purchase equipment to construct an artisan brew pub. The incentive funding package for the brewery and tap room consist of $85,557 from the Property and Business Improvement Program and $24,796 from the CRA Façade Program.
