13 Oct FORT LAUDERDALE VILLAGE DISTRICT LAUNCHES VILLAGE DINE OCTOBER 14TH – 22ND , 2016
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL | October 13, 2016 – The newly branded Fort Lauderdale Village District is launching Village Dine: Dine with Neighbors on Friday, October 14, 2016. Village Dine is a tribute and showcase of a variety of eateries located in the Fort Lauderdale Village District. These restaurants are becoming an integral part of Fort Lauderdale’s tradition of hospitality. Village Dine will last nine days, coming to a close on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Village Dine will kick off on Friday night at Food in Motion: Flagler Green Market which is held every 2nd Friday at Peter Feldman Park located at 310 NE 6th St, Fort Lauderdale. Food In Motion features fresh produce and greens from local vendors and the Flagler Village Farm, gourmet baked goods, food trucks, home, bath & body items, and Free beer for patrons 21 and older. Admission is free and free street parking is available.
The Northwest-Progresso-Flagler Village Community Redevelopment Agency (NPFCRA) invites everyone to take part in this celebration of culinary excellence which will span the 3 distinct neighborhoods within the Village District: Historic Sistrunk, Progresso Village, and Flagler Village. Participating restaurants are offering patrons lunchtime specials and fixed price dinner menus that are significantly discounted (excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity). Interested diners can enjoy the Village Dine by simply selecting the restaurant(s) of their choice and bon appétit!
